现代化的媒体一般在播报了一则评论或者转放了一个采访后，就会马上强调该内容并非代表本制作媒体的真正意见，（像是拉了臭屎赶快擦屁股走人一样）这种告示最多出现在财经节目，其次就是越来越多的时政节目。
如果一旦真的出了事故，媒体又会以“允许言论自由”作为理由，将“公民人权至上”奉为圣旨。
但是，让我们仔细考一个问题。对于所有的报道内容，媒体就没有核实的必要了吗？再进一步，对于转载或采访人的口述内容，媒体就没有核实的义务了吗？
这样看来，媒体也应该有一定的道德操守和公正责任，不能作为诽谤者的口舌和谎言的扩音器。
再把问题拉到外交层面，日本政府一直把右翼行为解释成一小撮人的非主流自由言论，美国政府和欧洲政府也将他们个别高层官员的出格言行解释成个人非官方立场。
那么国家内部的言论自由，在当今传媒的全球化一体化行程中，是不是就跨越了不同人权标准的国家界限，直接影响或间接代表外交立场和国家声音呢？
一不小心，说的学术了一点，不过确实是一个非常新的课题。
